The Story of DESTROYER Blades
A high-quality saw blade is essential for a table saw to make perfect cuts. Thereare so manyblades in the market, and some of them are of good quality.
However, “Good Enough Is Not Enough”. Harvey believes it is not impossible toprovide woodworkers with even higher quality table saw blades. After verylong- time efforts, we were lucky to find a great partner for this aspiration: LeitzTooling, a worldwide pioneer and leader of woodworking tool solutions, whoseheadquarter is based in Oberkochen, Germany with 145 years of history.
We are honored to have the opportunity to work with Leitz and created a new line ofsaw blades specially designed for table saw use: DESTROYER Table Saw Blades.DESTROYER Blades aredesigned with the highest industrial standards to handle the specific challenges of table saw wood cutting. All DESTROYER blades aremanufactured by Leitz factories with its incredible technology and century longexperience.

The Advantages of DESTROYER Saw Blades
Like every other Leitz-made cutting tools, DESTROYER Saw Blades aremanufactured by Leitz with the highest industrial standards.
Materials and Processing of Blade Plates
All the plates (body) of DESTROYER blades are laser cut from the 75cr1 Alloy Steel. Then theplates will go through a Thermal/Mechanical Flattening Process for stress relief andflattening.Finally, the plates will be surface ground for the ideal accuracy. These complexprocesses ensure the blade plate to be super flat and stable during its life time.
Saw Blade Tips
All the DESTROYER saw blade tipsare made of the HB03F IndustrialTungsten Carbide with 97% WC and3% Cobalt. Its particle grain isSubmicron Grade (0.2-0.4 micron)for great sharpness of the tip. Thecompressive strength of HBO3F is6800N/mm2, which makes the sawblades strong enough to withstand the toughest cutting impact. Finally,the hardness of the HB03F TungstenCarbide is as high as HV30 2025, thisis extremely important for wearingresistance of cutting edges.
Due to the extraordinary quality of the blade tips, DESTROYER Table Saw Blades can beresharpened up to 20 times, which further reduces the cost of usage.
Accuracies
The runout of eachDESTROYER blade is within0.1mm (0.0039″). The runout of adjacent teeth iscontrolled within 0.03mm(0.001″).
Obviously, the accuracy of thislevel will guarantee the perfectblade running stability andcutting accuracy.
Optimized Blade Stress for Great Performance
Each blade is checked and controlled with an optimum stress that maximizes the stability oftheblade on table saws. This optimum stress also ensures improved durability of the bladefor a longer lasting lifetime.
Noise Reduction Gullets for Quiet Sawing
With a particularly user-friendly and future-oriented sawing technology, the DESTROYER bladesare specially designed with noise reduction gullets. By restricting the teeth vibration,these noisereduction gullets can make your sawing process much quieter than conventionalblades.
Thermal Expansion Gullets for Clean Sawing
Besides the noise reduction gullets, the DESTROYER BP80 Plywood/Melamine Specialty Bladeisdesigned with Thermal Expansion Gullets. While a blade is spinning at high speed, lots ofheat is generated that may result in the deformation of the blade and burning of the workpiecebeingcut. The Thermal Expansion Gullets allow for enough space of blade expansion. This willmake your cutting process much safer and prevent the burning problem.
DESTROYER BR36 10″ Rip Cut Blade
The BP36 Blade is specially designedfor ideal quality of rip- cutting, its HookAngle is designed to be 15 whichallows for more aggressive rip cuts.The Top Clearance Angle is 15andthe Top Bevel Angle is 5. This anglecombination will greatly improve therip cutting efficiency resulting in asmoother cutting surface.
DESTROYER BC7210″ Cross Cut Blade
The BC72 blade is dedicatedly designedfor the best quality of cross cutting, theblade is designed with a Hook Angle of10,a Top Clearance Angle of 15, anda Top Bevel Angle of 20. With these
specially designed angles, the BC72blade is able to achieve reduced frictionand decreases power consumption,resulting in a smooth and satisfactorycrosscutting quality.
DESTROYER BP80 10″ Plywood/ Melamine Blade
The BP80 blade is specially designedfor challenging cutting of plywoodand melamine, the Hook Angle isdesigned to be 5, the Top ClearanceAngle is 16.5and the Top BevelAngle is 38 5 that is much steeper,so that Plywood & Melamineworkpiece can be cut with little to notear-out on the cutting surface.
All the DESTROYER blade teeth are precision ground to ensure the accuracy of these essentialangles.
