GUIDE TO USE
Precautions:
- Shake well.
- Avoid applying in direct sunlight.
- Wear skin protection.
- Wear respiratory protection.
- Wear eye protection.
- Always test in small area before full application to determine flash time.
- Shelf life of 12 months, use within 6 months of opening.
Prep:
The Prep is the most important step of the process, our coating is great but it can not do the prep work for you!
- Wash the Trim surface using Armour Detail Supply Decon Soap.
- Optional: For older or oxidized trim, scrub Trim with our Armour Detail Supply Tire Cleaner diluted 4:1.
- Use our Armour Detail Supply Panel Prep to remove any oils/residue, repeat this step twice to ensure a clean surface.
You are ready to apply Armour Trim+ Coating!
Application:
- After thorough prep prime the applicator with 3 lines to start and each subsequent application will only need a small amount, a little goes a long way.
- Apply Armour Trim+ Coating to one section of plastic trim at a time. Apply using a methodical circular motion with medium/heavy pressure to massage the product into the pores of the plastic. Allow the product to set up for 1-2 minutes.
- In a small circular motion level coating utilizing multiple towels. Check for any streaks, or high spots which can appear as dark spots. Repeat this process per Trim section.
Armour Trim+ was designed as a single layer coating, however, it can be layered for extremely neglected trim that needs additional restoration. If you wish to apply multiple layers allow a few minutes between layers. This will guarantee optimal performance.
After Care:
Armour Trim+ dries to the touch within minutes. Allow product to sit 4 hours for initial cure before getting wet. Do not wash or induce to chemicals for 24 hours.
