Bright Dyes Yellow/Green products are specially formulated versions of Xanthene dye and are certified by NSF International to ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for use in potable water. It can be detected visually, by ultraviolet light, and by appropriate fluorometric equipment. Visual appearance is yellow/green (depending on concentration) and lime green under ultraviolet light. Bright Dyes FLT products are biodegradable, with 65% of the available oxygen consumed in 7 days, and is resistant to absorption on most suspended matter in both fresh water and salt water.
