- Each parallel consists of 2 pieces dovetailed together so they can slide on each other to change the height and then locked by means of hex set screws (3/32 A/F}
- Can be set to a micrometer for size
- Can be expanded into slots and resulting size measured with a micrometer
- Material: Thoroughly seasoned, Close-grain Cast Iron
- Hardness: Greater than 87 HRB
